1. Purpose and Responsible Body
This privacy policy clarifies the nature, scope, and purpose of processing (including collection, processing, and use, as well as obtaining consent) of personal data within our online offering and its associated websites, functions, and content (hereinafter collectively referred to as "online offering" or "website"). This privacy policy applies regardless of the domains, systems, platforms, and devices used (e.g., desktop or mobile) on which the online offering is executed. The provider of the online offering and the body responsible for data protection is Edisson Stellwerkost GmbH, Städtchen 12, 8730 Uznach, Switzerland (hereinafter referred to as "provider," "we," or "us"). For contact options, please refer to our impressum. The term "user" includes all customers and visitors to our online offering. The terms used, such as "user," are to be understood as gender-neutral.

2. Basic Information on Data Processing
We process users' personal data only in compliance with the relevant data protection regulations, in accordance with the principles of data minimization and data avoidance. This means that user data is processed only when there is legal permission, especially when the data is required for the provision of our contractual services and online services, or is legally mandated, or when consent has been given. We implement organizational, contractual, and technical security measures in accordance with the state of the art to ensure that the provisions of data protection laws are adhered to and to protect the data processed by us against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction, or against access by unauthorized persons. If, within the scope of this privacy policy, content, tools, or other means from other providers (hereinafter collectively referred to as "third-party providers") are used and their stated location is abroad, it is to be assumed that data will be transferred to the countries where these third-party providers are located. The transfer of data to third countries occurs either on the basis of legal permission, user consent, or specific contractual clauses that ensure the legally required security of the data.

3. Processing of Personal Data
In addition to the uses explicitly mentioned in this privacy policy, personal data will be processed for the following purposes based on legal permissions or user consents: - The provision, execution, maintenance, optimization, and security of our service and user offerings; - Ensuring effective customer service and technical support. We transfer user data to third parties only if this is necessary for billing purposes (e.g., to a payment service provider) or for other purposes if necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations to users (e.g., address notification to suppliers). When contacting us (via contact form or email), the user's details are stored for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case follow-up questions arise. Personal data will be deleted once they have fulfilled their purpose and no retention obligations prevent their deletion.

4. Collection of Access Data
We collect data about every access to the server on which this service is located (so-called server log files). Access data includes the name of the retrieved web page, file, date and time of retrieval, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address, and the requesting provider. We use the log data, without assigning it to the person of the user or other profiling, in accordance with legal provisions, only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security, and optimization of our online offering. However, we reserve the right to review the log data retrospectively if there is a justified suspicion of illegal use based on concrete evidence.

5. Cookies & Reach Measurement
Cookies are information transferred from our web server or third-party web servers to the users' web browsers and stored there for later retrieval. Users are informed about the use of cookies for pseudonymized reach measurement within this privacy policy. This online offering can also be viewed without cookies. If users do not want cookies to be stored on their computer, they are asked to deactivate the corresponding option in their browser's system settings. Stored cookies can be deleted in the browser's system settings. Disabling cookies may lead to functional restrictions of this online offering. Many online advertising cookies from companies can be managed via the US site http://www.aboutads.info/choices or the EU site http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/.

6. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the online offering by users is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our online offering by users, to compile reports on activities within this online offering, and to provide us with other services related to the use of this online offering and internet usage. Pseudonymous user profiles can be created from the processed data. We only use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymization. This means that Google truncates the IP address of users within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. The IP address transmitted by the user's browser will not be merged with other Google data. Users can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting their browser software settings accordingly; users can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to their use of the online offering and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. Further information on data use for advertising purposes by Google, settings and objection options can be found on Google's websites: https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners ("How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps"), http://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads ("Data usage for advertising purposes"), http://www.google.de/settings/ads ("Manage information Google uses to show you ads") and http://www.google.com/ads/preferences ("Determine what ads Google shows you").

7. Google Re/Marketing Services
We use the marketing and remarketing services (in short, "Google Marketing Services") of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, ("Google"). Google Marketing Services allow us to display advertisements for and on our website more precisely, to present users only with ads that potentially match their interests. If, for example, users are shown ads for products they have been interested in on other websites, this is referred to as "remarketing." For these purposes, when our and other websites where Google Marketing Services are active are accessed, Google immediately executes a Google code, and so-called (re)marketing tags (invisible graphics or code, also known as "web beacons") are integrated into the website. With their help, an individual cookie, i.e., a small file, is stored on the user's device (comparable technologies can also be used instead of cookies). The cookies can be set by various domains, including google.com, doubleclick.net, invitemedia.com, admeld.com, googlesyndication.com or googleadservices.com. This file records which websites the user has visited, which content they are interested in, and which offers they have clicked on, as well as technical information about the browser and operating system, referring websites, visit time, and other details about the use of the online offering. The user's IP address is also recorded, whereby within Google Analytics we inform that the IP address is truncated within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area and only in exceptional cases is it completely transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. The IP address is not merged with user data within other Google offerings. This information mentioned above can also be combined with information from other sources. If the user subsequently visits other websites, ads tailored to their interests can be displayed. User data is processed pseudonymously within the Google Marketing Services. This means that Google does not, for example, store and process the user's name or email address, but processes the relevant data on a cookie-related basis within pseudonymous user profiles. This means that from Google's perspective, the ads are not managed and displayed for a specifically identified person, but for the cookie holder, regardless of who this cookie holder is. This does not apply if a user has explicitly allowed Google to process the data without this pseudonymization. The information collected by "DoubleClick" about users is transmitted to Google and stored on Google's servers in the USA. The Google Marketing Services we use include the online advertising program "Google AdWords". In the case of Google AdWords, each AdWords customer receives a different "conversion cookie". Cookies cannot therefore be tracked across AdWords customer websites. The information collected with the help of the cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. AdWords customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that personally identifies users. Based on the Google Marketing Service "DoubleClick", we integrate third-party advertisements. DoubleClick uses cookies that enable Google and its partner websites to display ads based on users' visits to this website or other websites on the internet. We also integrate third-party advertisements based on the Google Marketing Service "AdSense". AdSense uses cookies that enable Google and its partner websites to display ads based on users' visits to this website or other websites on the internet. Another Google Marketing Service we use is "Google Tag Manager", which allows further Google analysis and marketing services to be integrated into our website (e.g., "AdWords", "DoubleClick" or "Google Analytics"). Further information on data use for marketing purposes by Google can be found on the overview page: https://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads, Google's privacy policy is available at https://www.google.com/policies/privacy. If you wish to object to the collection by Google Marketing Services, you can use the settings and opt-out options provided by Google: http://www.google.com/ads/preferences.

8. Facebook Social Plugins
Our online offering uses social plugins ("plugins") of the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook"). The plugins are recognizable by one of the Facebook logos (white "f" on a blue tile, the terms "Like", "Gefällt mir" or a "thumbs up" sign) or are marked with the addition "Facebook Social Plugin". The list and appearance of the Facebook Social Plugins can be viewed here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/. When a user calls up a function of this online offering that contains such a plugin, their device establishes a direct connection with the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly from Facebook to the user's device and integrated into the online offering by the device. Usage profiles of the users can be created from the processed data. We therefore have no influence on the extent of the data that Facebook collects with the help of this plugin and therefore inform users according to our knowledge. By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives the information that a user has called up the corresponding page of the online offering. If the user is logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to their Facebook account. If users interact with the plugins, for example, press the Like button or leave a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from their device to Facebook and stored there. If a user is not a member of Facebook, there is still the possibility that Facebook will find out and store their IP address. According to Facebook, only an anonymized IP address is stored in Germany. The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as the related rights and setting options for protecting the privacy of users, can be found in Facebook's data protection notices: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. If a user is a Facebook member and does not want Facebook to collect data about them via this online offering and link it to their member data stored on Facebook, they must log out of Facebook and delete their cookies before using our online offering. Further settings and objections to the use of data for advertising purposes are possible within the Facebook profile settings: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads or via the US site http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU site http://www.youronlinechoices.com/. The settings are platform-independent, i.e., they are applied to all devices, such as desktop computers or mobile devices.

9. Facebook Remarketing
Within our online offering, "Facebook pixels" from the social network Facebook, operated by Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, or, if you are located in the EU, Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook"), are used. The Facebook pixel enables Facebook to determine visitors to our offering as a target group for displaying ads, known as "Facebook Ads". Accordingly, we use the Facebook pixel to display Facebook Ads placed by us only to Facebook users who have also shown an interest in our online offering. This means that with the help of the Facebook pixel, we want to ensure that our Facebook Ads correspond to the potential interest of users and do not appear annoying. With the help of the Facebook pixel, we can also track the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes by seeing whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad. The Facebook pixel is directly integrated by Facebook when you access our websites and can store a so-called cookie, i.e., a small file, on your device. If you then log in to Facebook or visit Facebook while logged in, your visit to our offering will be noted in your profile. The data collected about you is anonymous to us, meaning it does not allow us to infer the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, so a connection to the respective user profile is possible. The processing of data by Facebook takes place within the framework of Facebook's Data Policy. Accordingly, you will receive further information on how the remarketing pixel works and generally on the display of Facebook Ads in Facebook's Data Policy: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php. You can object to the collection by the Facebook pixel and the use of your data for displaying Facebook Ads. To do this, you can visit the page set up by Facebook and follow the instructions for settings for usage-based advertising: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads or declare your objection via the US page http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU page http://www.youronlinechoices.com/. The settings are platform-independent, i.e., they apply to all devices, such as desktop computers or mobile devices.

10. Newsletter
With the following information, we inform you about the content of our newsletter as well as the registration, dispatch, and statistical evaluation procedures, and your rights of objection. By subscribing to our newsletter, you agree to its receipt and the described procedures. Newsletter content: We send newsletters, emails, and other electronic notifications with promotional information (hereinafter "newsletters") only with the consent of the recipients or legal permission. If the content of the newsletter is specifically described during registration, it is decisive for the user's consent. Otherwise, our newsletters contain the following information: our products, offers, promotions, and our company. Double opt-in and logging: Registration for our newsletter takes place via a so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that after registration, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that no one can register with foreign email addresses. Newsletter registrations are logged to be able to prove the registration process in accordance with legal requirements. This includes storing the time of registration and confirmation, as well as the IP address. Likewise, changes to your data stored with the shipping service provider are logged. Shipping service provider: Newsletters are sent via "[newsletter_service]" (hereinafter referred to as "shipping service provider"). You can view the shipping service provider's privacy policy here: [newsletter_service_privacy_policy]. The email addresses of our newsletter recipients, as well as their other data described in these notes, are stored on the servers of the shipping service provider. The shipping service provider uses this information to send and evaluate the newsletters on our behalf. Furthermore, according to its own information, the shipping service provider may use this data to optimize or improve its own services, e.g., for the technical optimization of dispatch and display of newsletters or for economic purposes, to determine from which countries recipients come. However, the shipping service provider does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to contact them directly or to pass it on to third parties. Registration data: To subscribe to the newsletter, it is sufficient to provide your email address. Statistical collection and analysis - The newsletters contain a "web beacon," i.e., a pixel-sized file that is retrieved from the shipping service provider's server when the newsletter is opened. As part of this retrieval, technical information, such as information about the browser and your system, as well as your IP address and time of retrieval, are initially collected. This information is used for technical improvement of the services based on technical data or target groups and their reading behavior based on their retrieval locations (which can be determined with the help of the IP address) or access times. Statistical surveys also include determining whether newsletters are opened, when they are opened, and which links are clicked. For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to individual newsletter recipients. However, neither we nor the shipping service provider intend to observe individual users. The evaluations serve rather to recognize the reading habits of our users and to adapt our content to them or to send different content according to the interests of our users. Termination/Revocation - You can terminate your subscription to our newsletter at any time, i.e., revoke your consent. This simultaneously revokes your consent to its dispatch by the shipping service provider and the statistical analyses. A separate revocation of dispatch by the shipping service provider or statistical evaluation is unfortunately not possible. You will find a link to unsubscribe from the newsletter at the end of each newsletter.

11. Integration of third-party services and content
It may happen that content or services from third-party providers, such as city maps or fonts from other websites, are integrated within our online offering. The integration of content from third-party providers always requires that the third-party providers perceive the IP address of the users, as they could not send the content to the users' browser without the IP address. The IP address is therefore required for the display of this content. Furthermore, the providers of the third-party content can set their own cookies and process user data for their own purposes. Usage profiles of the users can be created from the processed data. We will use this content with as little data as possible and avoid data, and choose reliable third-party providers with regard to data security. The following illustration provides an overview of third-party providers and their content, along with links to their data protection declarations, which contain further information on data processing and, in some cases already mentioned here, objection options (so-called opt-out): - External fonts from Google, Inc., https://www.google.com/fonts ("Google Fonts"). Google Fonts are integrated by a server call to Google (usually in the USA). Privacy Policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/, Opt-Out: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/. - Maps from the "Google Maps" service of the third-party provider Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. 12. User rights and data deletion
Users have the right, upon request, to receive free information about the personal data stored about them by us. In addition, users have the right to correct inaccurate data, revoke consent, block and delete their personal data, and the right to file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in the event of an assumption of unlawful data processing. The data stored by us will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for its intended purpose and no legal retention obligations prevent its deletion.

13. Changes to the Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to change the privacy policy to adapt it to changed legal situations, or in the event of changes to the service and data processing. However, this only applies with regard to declarations on data processing. If user consent is required or parts of the privacy policy contain provisions of the contractual relationship with the users, changes will only be made with the consent of the users. Users are asked to regularly inform themselves about the content of the privacy policy.
